How do you get to Peter Lugers steakhouse from Manhattan?

Yeah Im a tourist, the peter luger website only has driving directions, how do you get there by subway. How do you get to Peter Lugers steakhouse from Manhattan?
Take the Q train headed downtown to Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. - Take the Q train to Canal Street (three stops from Times Square) At Canal Street, change for the J train (no extra fare) and take the train headed toward Jamaica Center. Go three stops and get off at Marcy Avenue. Get out of the station at the Broadway and Havameyer Street going towards S 8th Street. Peter Luger is at 178 Broadway at Driggs Avenue; it's close to the subway. You are going to have a great meal!
JMZ to the Marcy Ave Stop (first in brooklyn, you will go over the williamsburg bridge, so you know you have left Manhattan)

this may be a little challenging for a tourist, so a cab may be easier. Just hop in and tell them to take you to peter lugers in brooklyn. they will know exactly where it is.

There should also be cabs waiting outside when your meal is finished. After your meal check out some of the bars on Bedford avenue in Williamsburg. How do you get to Peter Lugers steakhouse from Manhattan?
Though you can get there on the JMZ, a cab will be way easier...and if you've got enough money to eat at Peter Luger's, you've got enough money to pay for a cab!
Take a taxi! Much quicker and easier than going by subway. May cost about $12 from mid town, but well worth it.

Lugers is expensive and only takes cash.
