What kind of bread does Lonestar Steakhouse serve?

I love the bread they serve. I always called it Chocolate Bread bc it's so dark. I would love to find some to have at home, can anyone help?What kind of bread does Lonestar Steakhouse serve?

My husband and I actually asked when we were last at the restaurant, and the waiter informed us it's a Bavarian wheat bread. It is definitely NOT pumpernickel, as we've been trying those in hopes of finding it. If I find the actual recipe online somewhere, I'll share it with you!

I believe it is pumpernickel. It is goooooood stuff! =)
I've never eaten there, but bread that dark that is not a dessert-type sounds like pumpernickel, which I love as well.
