I am applying to be a hostess at outback steakhouse and I am wondering if they drug test?

At the interview, at training, is it random or do they not at all? Please only answer if you have experience or know a friend.I am applying to be a hostess at outback steakhouse and I am wondering if they drug test?
nope. no drug testing EVER with one exception - if you hurt yourself while working you may be asked to take a drug test at the manager's discretion.

and if you get caught doing drugs at work they fire you.

welcome to the wonderful world of restuarants! :)
I know someone who works at a Red Lobster and almost all of her coworkers use something or other. The only time I've heard of there being a drug test was when someone was letting the drugs effect their work and management gave that person basically just to fire them.

But I would play it safe and keep off the drugs at least until you can ask coworkers. A job is better than no job if you ask me. And to not have one because of a drug test is embarrassing.I am applying to be a hostess at outback steakhouse and I am wondering if they drug test?
I don't know, you may show up at work messed up and direct people to the bar instead of their tables. Most restaurants skip this process as it is pricey and cuts too far into potential candidates. It is known by many that the restaurant industry harbors a huge black market for many unregulated illegal substances.
i doubt it,why would they?..
