Texas is the Lonestar State, so why is the Lonestar Steakhouse, which is heavily based on Texas, not in Texas?Do you find it odd that there is no Lonestar Steakhouse in Texas?
no.
I guess Lonestar is in located different states to give other regions a taste of Texas.Since the people in Texas know what kind of food they like there is no need for a Longstar steakhouse there. Not sure that is the real reason, but that's just my opinion. It's the same with Taco Bell,it only recently opened Taco Bell restaurants in Mexico. Why whould mexicans eat at Taco Bell,or why would Texans eat at Texas chain restaurant.Notice there are no Longhorn steakhouses in Texas either.Do you find it odd that there is no Lonestar Steakhouse in Texas?
Texas has a BUNCH of steakhouses. On my drive to work I pass probably half-a-dozen of the fancy high-end places, and there are plenty of chain outlets as well. I would imagine anyone planning on moving a chain steakhouse operation into Texas is aware that they'll have a lot of competition.
ya you have to be kidding me???? the lone star state and no lonestar steakhouse?? ain't texas where they raise the most beef and cattle?when i think about texas i think cowboys and cattle? that's almost un-american? ain't it???
That is really odd. I mean its based on the Texas symbol. That place is not around like it used to be. I wonder what happened.
I would say they want that western sound to their name to help authenticate the food they serve. I have never heard of the place, probably cause I live in Houston.
That's just like Popeye's don't serve spinach....weird huh !
