I am going to take it so I want to know if anybody have some of the answers and I need some of sample questions that the test have . Thank you I hope someone can helpme thank youWhat are some of example of aptitude test that they give you at outback steakhouse?
I would think they would want to know if you know basic math; how to make change, that type of thing. I would think they would want to know if you really "listen" to ppl when taking orders. They may even throw in your knowledge of health codes / policies. I'm just guessing. Also, how would you handle an irrate customer? Do you have the people skills to work at Outback.
Answer each question honestly. Don't try to second guess the test because it won't work!!!! If you don't know something, say so. Honestly goes a long way.....
Good luck! That should be a fun place to work at.

What is the best Steakhouse in New York city and why?
What's you opinion? I like 2 - DelMonico's and Peter Luger. 2 different styles, DelMonico is more upscale, but both kick ***. So tell me...what's you favorite and why? What is the best Steakhouse in New York city and why?
I've had some great steaks at Angelo's and Maxie's and the Old Homestead, but Peter Luger's takes the cake.

How do you make the seafood sauce at Japanese Steakhouse restaurants?
You don't. They already have it made for you.How do you make the seafood sauce at Japanese Steakhouse restaurants?
Based on the limited information given. It's probably a combination of Dashi and soy sauce. Dashi is a Kombu (kelp) based broth. You can definitely buy it in your local Japanese market. If you have a large enough Japanese population you might be able to buy it in the grocery store (that's where we get ours).nada boats traffic school quizno things to do in nyc

No alcohol. Just a dinner for two let's say 1 salad, 2 steaks and lobster, 2 sides and dessert or so?! Their menu online doesn't show prices! How much is it for a dinner for two at Fleming's Steakhouse?
$140 would cover it. With what you listed, it should be around $110 plus tip plus tax.

What does Australia have to do with Outback Steakhouse?
Does it have anything to do with the Australian Outback? What does Australia have to do with Outback Steakhouse?
"Outback Steakhouse" in the USA has abosolutely nothing in common with Australia or Australian food.
It's purely an American invention.
We have five "Outback Steakhouse" Restaurants in Australia. They are all located in New South Wales. The menu has quite a few different items to the menu in the USA.
In Australia the "Out back" means like large areas where cattle graze. And since the "outback restaurant" specializes in fine steak, I think you can make the connection. It is quite fitting that a steak house named for Australian cattle graze land should be called "The Outback."
A steak house named for American cattle grazeland is called the "Lone Star" because Texas is known as the 'lone star state." Maybe that is because at dusk and dawn there is one lone star visible in the sky over the cattle grazing land in Texas. That would be Venus.
Hope this helps. What does Australia have to do with Outback Steakhouse?
The name Outback Steakhouse is a marketing gimmick. I recently went to a US Western theme restaurant in Australia that is actually a franchise of South African origin. It purely tries to create a certain atmosphere to give the patron a feeling of something special. Some strange items on the menu of Outback include wallaby steaks and so on that are all actually beef. If you want a real wallaby steak, you will have to break the law and kill a protected animal. Kangaroo steaks on the other hand are widely available in Australia.
Absolutely nothing. There is no such thing as a Bloomin' Onion in Australia. No one here drinks Foster's. Good for a laugh, though, and the food is great.
outback steak house is so funny. i went there while i was in america.
What outback steakhouse ?? Where is it ??? More info please.

They are all owned by Darden so I figured it might be possible. I was given an OG gift card but would rather use it somewhere else. Can you use an Olive Garden gift card at Red Lobster or Longhorn Steakhouse?
I don't blame you Olive Garden is the worst place ever. And a lot of people think the same way they said Jessica Simpson ate there and she went into the kitchen to thank the Chef. She thanked the microwave. And yes you can use it like that, its basically like a Wal-Mart gift card you can also use it at Sam's Club because they are owned by the same company.

Its a sweet brown bread:
In searching for a copycat recipe for Outback's bread, I found this one online. I'm posting it here as the recipe was written so I won't lose it. I did change the size of my loaves by making two large loaves instead of 6 smaller ones. This recipe is a bit different from others here on Zaar in that it requires molasses as well as honey. It produces a nice dark loaf that we thought was very close to Outback's bread. I mixed up some honey butter to serve with it. Super yummy! NOTE: this is not supposed to be a "fluffy" bread! This recipe produces a dark dense loaf.
6 small loaves
Ingredients
1 1/4 cups warm water
2 teaspoons sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons yeast
2 cups bread flour
1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon cocoa
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons molasses
1 1/4 teaspoons red food coloring
1 teaspoon yellow food coloring
1 teaspoon blue food coloring
cornmeal, for dusting
1/4 cup butter, softened
1-2 teaspoon honey, to taste
Directions
1In a small bowl, combine the sugar and warm water; add the yeast and let this mixture sit until it is foamy.
2While the yeast proofs, combine the bread and wheat flours, cocoa and salt in a large bowl.
3Mix the 2 T butter into the dry mixture with your hands.
4Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients; pour the honey and molasses into the well.
5Mix the food coloring into the yeast solution and then pour into the well.
6Stir with a wooden spoon until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
7Put the dough on a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes.
8Roll the dough into a ball and place in an oiled bowl.
9Cover and put in a warm place for 1 1/2 hours or until it has risen to double it's size.
10When the dough has doubled, divide it into 6 portions.
11Roll each portion about 6" long and 2" wide.
12Put some cornmeal on your rolling surface and moisten your hands with water.
13Rub the dough with your moistened hands and then roll the dough in the cornmeal.
14Put the rolled dough on a baking sheet and cover to rise again.
15Set the dough in a warm place again for about 1 hour or until the loaves are doubled in size.
16Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
17When done, let it cool for 10-15 minutes.
18Combine the 1/4 c butter and honey (to taste) in a small bowl.
19Whip with a mixer until thoroughly combined.
20Serve on the warm bread.chicago restaurant week virginia burger island breakfast pizza

How do you make the Grilled vegetables like the ones at Tokyo steakhouse?
:C anyone have the recipe I can't find it!How do you make the Grilled vegetables like the ones at Tokyo steakhouse?
Grilling vegetables is easy. The fact that more people don't do it is the strange thing. The general rule is to cut the vegetables into pieces that will cook quickly and evenly. All pieces should be of consistent thickness and no more than about 3/4 to 1 inch thick. Soak vegetables in cold water for about 30 minutes before you grill them to keep them from drying out. Pat dry, then brush lightly with oil to prevent sticking. Do not over cook and you'll have vegetables better than you thought possible. If you like grilling vegetables and want to try smaller things use a grilling basket to keep them out of the fire.
This list of specific vegetables will get you started.
Asparagus: Cut off ends. Soak in water for 30 minutes to an hour. Pat dry and brush with olive oil. Place on grill, turning every minute. Remove when tips start to turn brown. You can add some extra flavor to asparagus by mixing a little sesame oil in the olive oil before you brush them.
Bell Peppers: Cut through the middle of the pepper top to bottom. Remove stems, seeds and whitish ribs. Brush lightly with oil and grill for 2-3 minutes on each side.
Chili Peppers: Brush with oil. Grill whole on each side, 2-3 minutes. To reduce the heat, cut off the stems and pull out the seeds.
Corn on the cob: Gently pull back the husks but don't remove. Remove the silk and cut off the very end. Soak in cold water for about 30 minutes. Dry and brush with butter. Fold the husks back down and tie or twist the ends. Place on grill for about 5 to 7 minutes. Turn to avoid burning.
Eggplant: Cut lengthwise for smaller eggplants or in disks top to bottom for larger eggplants. Soak in water for 30 minutes. Pat dry, brush with oil and grill 2-3 minutes.
Garlic: Take whole bulbs and cut off the root end. Brush with olive oil and place cut side down over a hit fire. Grill garlic bulbs for about 10 minutes or until the skin is brown.
Mushrooms: Rinse off dirt and pat dry. Brush with oil and grill. 4-5 minutes for small mushrooms, 6-8 minutes. Use a grill basket or topper for small mushrooms.
Onions: Remove skin and cut horizontally about 1/2 inch thick. Brush with oil and grill 3-4 minutes.
Tomatoes: (Yes, I know, technically a fruit) Cut in half, top to bottom. Brush with a light coating of oil and grill cut side down 2-3 minutes.
Potatoes: Wash thoroughly and dry. Rub with oil. Wrap in aluminum foil and grill 35-40 minutes, turning occasionally.
Zucchini and small squash: Slice 1/2 inch thickness. Brush with oil and grill 2-3 minutes per side. Small squash can be cut down the middle and grilling in halves.

i have no idea how it is in other countries but in america we are bombarded by horrible chain restaurants (don't get me started on fast food places). and the thing i've noticed about outback steakhouse is that, it's pretty much the same as any other crappy chain steakhouse. other than the decor, i see/taste nothing about the food that says australian. i could be wrong but to me it's seems about as asutralian as taco bell or del taco is mexican. Is Outback Steakhouse a good representation of Australian food?
Outback steakhouse is an American chain with only a handful of restaurants in Australia.
All chains are the same, its reminds me of chilli's.
Its all just over commercialised, with no real native influence, except that of whichever warehouse sells that same decor.
In terms of Aussie food, we eat the same as the rest of the world, we are largly multicultural so that includes our food, we suit all tastes.
Traditional aussie foods are; vegemite, pavlova, lamingtons, meat pie, a bbq, kangaroo (not overly common), tim tams. Australia's favourite food would probably be either a steak on the bbq or seafood (not on the bbq). Our seafood restaurants make the best food.
Aussie's call them prawns not shrimp and theyre not usually cooked on the bbq.
Australian cuisine is a fusion of all the cuisines of the cultures of all of the people who have come here. It is basically European, but there are influences from southern and south east Asia, Japan, the Middle East and North Africa. It is an exciting and innovative cuisine, something that it sounds that Outback Steakhouses are not.
American food is crap compared to what I eat every day in Australia. One of the things that is seriously crap is the absence of cheap and cheerful tasty ethnic cuisine. You either pay a fortune for fine dining or eat in chain diners full of unimaginative, stodgy, nutritionally bereft stuff that no Australian would willingly accept.
After living in Pittsburgh for four years, I can safely say that Outback Steakhouse is as Australian as French Fries are French. Even the decor is wrong -- more reminiscent of the Texas than The Land Downunder.
For a true Australian dining experience... go to the MCG to watch an Australian Rules footy match (REAL footy ... LOL), and eat a Four %26amp; Twenty Pie with White Crow tomato sauce (NOT ketchup!), and wash it down with a good, cold VB (Victoria Bitter... beer). And if Collingwood loses the footy match (and we don't care who beats them), the day will be perfect. LOL
It's not supposed to be a representation of Australian food but of their way of life. The whole "No Worries" and "No Rules, Just Right" thing is where the Australian stuff comes for. Other then that it's just another steakhouse. We do have a lot of Australian beers and wines though.
Well, i've never been to that place.. But here in Australia, its a multicultural country.. and we pretty much eat anything..
We dont have taco bell in Australia, we used to, but it closed down because it wasnt a success... You can keep your tacos.
Too bad it's just another chain of restaurant. See, companies just hype things up to capture the taste of the consumers. It's just making another flavor out of something that's been all the while there. You get what I mean?
Considering it's not even available in Australia, I'd have to say no.
I doubt you can really get a good representation of any nationalities food from nasty chain restaurants in any case.
i have talked to people from here(Aussie)who have visited the USA %26amp; have eaten there %26amp; they tell me it is terrible so i have to say a big NO
No, it's just a takeout place. It is a chain, they have other steakhouses in other names as well.
Your correct......just another chain steakhouse........sorry.......

Does anyone know the type of bread they serve at Saltgrass Steakhouse?
Its round and brown. That's pretty much all I can tell you. Its sweet and soft and it's served with honey butter.Does anyone know the type of bread they serve at Saltgrass Steakhouse?

Since I don't know where you live (hopefully near Shiner, TX), I can't tell you where to buy the beer called for in the recipe. I probably wouldn't make a substitution if you really like the bread. Their actual brewery is in Shiner. Somewhere along with line, I saw someone mention that they have it at Publix. The website has a "contact us" section. You can always put the question to them. http://www.shiner.com/main.php

Can you provide some evidence other than anecdotal. I know what the higher execs make from reading the annual reports but I would like to know what these others make. How much does a district supervisor (or manager?) for Outback Steakhouse make?

If a person with peanut allergies walked into a Longhorn Steakhouse without knowing, could they win a law suit?
They are a chain that serves a bucket of peanuts, and folks throw them on the floor. If a person who was allergic went in and had a reaction, would they have a case? A follow up question, what about a discrimination suit?If a person with peanut allergies walked into a Longhorn Steakhouse without knowing, could they win a law suit?
Most such places have a sign out front warning of such potential dangers. However, nanny state or not, people with such life-threatening allergies are expected to take the responsibility of checking on such possibilities themselves before putting themselves at risk, and most are used to doing so.
BQ: The ADA says establishments must make "reasonable" accommodations where "practical." The nature of a peanut allergy is such that the patient bears the most responsibility for assuring that the place is safe by simply asking ahead of time. The restaurant isn't required to erect a billboard announcing "Danger: peanuts inside!". Many airlines have switched to pretzels, but peanuts aren't the same to airlines as they are to a Longhorn Steakhouse. Or a ball park.
No. The peanut shells are in plain view on the floor. A business is only required to give reasonable notice of potential hazards in their business. Peanut shells all over the floor are ample warning that, well, there are peanut shells all over the floor.
No discrimination suit is possible either, because "People with peanut allergies" are not a protected class.
RichardIf a person with peanut allergies walked into a Longhorn Steakhouse without knowing, could they win a law suit?
The chain (and anyone else who follows the same idea) posts signs CLEARLY on the door, warning about the peanuts.
Anyone with a severe enough allergy that peanut dust could set them off has to take responsibility for their own safety, they would have no case.
No, they cannot sue for discrimination. Allergies are not a protected class in regards to discrimination.
No, because someone with that severe of a peanut allergy should contact any resteraunt they go to before going and be prepared with the epi.
I have a friend who has a daughter that is like that. she started having a reaction before they even got inside.
No on the discrimination, but most of those restaurants have signs on the doors warning of peanut usage inside. Plus if you see nut shells and don't leave and get sick it would appear pretty frivolous.
How do you enter a room without knowing? I guess if you were kidnapped while sleep-walking.
What? Where am I? Oh, no! Peanuts!!!
Kidnapping is illegal and morally wrong. Sue that person, please.
the only way i think they would win is if they took the peanuts and slammed there head into the bowl and got allergic but even with that i dought it
I am sorry but, the establishment that you speak off and if the person knownly entered the establishment know that and his allergy would be acting up there would be no lawsuit.
I don't see anyone getting an allergic reaction from peanuts, when they are on the floor and NOT in their mouth,,,
no and no.

How do I start a steakhouse restaurant?
This depends a lot on where you are. Were I to consider doing this, I would First find good beef, a supplier that I could trust.
It also depends on your professional background. Are you a food service professional? If not, hire a chef. If you have no background in food service you would also need to hire a resturaunt manager.
Don't expect any profit in your fist two years, and if you luck out and have profit, spend it on infrastructure and advertising.
Good luck. How do I start a steakhouse restaurant?
you get a bank loan
I had one. Start with a LOT of money. Then find your building. Then get all your permits, licenses, and insurance. Put together your menu, advertising, decor, accounts with distributors, hire help, go to your accountant to set up payroll, decide on uniforms, get the inspector in, and pray for the day when you finally click on the sign and people come in!
It helps if you can cook so you don't have to hire a chef. How do I start a steakhouse restaurant?

I currently live in Germany, so I haven't been to an Outback in forever. But I suggest you wait and see and check the menu once you get there. Don't let all the greasy, bloody steak eating spoil your fun. Think positive. Are the Steaks used in famous hotels or fancy steakhouse safe?
Do they use more safe beef with no additives and hormones than regular fast food or restaurants? Where can I eat out that is better than garbage used at McDonalds and etc?Are the Steaks used in famous hotels or fancy steakhouse safe?
you can get steaks and meat like that from a good butcher... or you would be hard pressed to find a restaurant wit them, you can get them though, but the better places just have the best cuts, sometimes naturally grown but still with preservatives for hygeine....
seriously? dude of course they are safe if they werent there store/resurante would be closed and there would also be a notice placed on the front window to let customers knowAre the Steaks used in famous hotels or fancy steakhouse safe?
They aged them until there is a brown moldy crest, that is what it taste better than the others that you are referring to.

I have my very first job interview at outback steakhouse tomorrow?
any tips or to do/not to do or say? what not to wear? what type of questions will be asked? about how long will the interview be?
I'm very nervous! please and thank you!I have my very first job interview at outback steakhouse tomorrow?
The interview itself is fairly easy. Some general interview questions are: Tell me about yourself? Why do you want to work here? Give me an example of great customer service. Where did you work before? What does customer service mean to you? How can you assist a needy customer?
When asked questions, try to give as many answers as possible, even stating things that you wouldn't think to say... i.e. "How do you make a customer feel welcome when they arrive" - Smile, greet them by name if you know it, ask how they are, offer food and beverages, etc. Try to be friendly and engaging and answer to the best of your ability, with a focus on hospitality and willingness to work with a team. You can also let them know that you are a hard worker and a quick learner.
The interview itself will be fairly brief, maybe a half hour. Do not ask about the salary or any benefits at this point. Smile and try to appear confident. You can go to glassdoor.com and search for interviews at Outback Steakhouse to read firsthand what the interview will be like. Best of luck to you.I have my very first job interview at outback steakhouse tomorrow?
Congratulations! You should wear conservative, rather than flashy clothes - you don't want the interviewer's attention to be drawn to what you're wearing. They should be neat but not necessarily overly dressy. They will probably ask you why you want to work for them, what you have to offer, your strengths, and your weaknesses. Don't BS them; they don't like that. Try not to show how nervous you are, and just be friendly and confident. Ask questions about the job or the company if you have them, but don't ask about the salary right away. That makes it look like it's all you care about. You should do just fine!

Does anyone know how to cook those yummy baked potatoes like Outback or Texas Steakhouse?
I know that they use rock salt but other than that I'm at a loss.Any help will be appreciated.Does anyone know how to cook those yummy baked potatoes like Outback or Texas Steakhouse?
My husband worked at Texas Roadhouse at one time. It's bacon grease. They dip their "taters" in bacon grease, hit it with the salt and bake it. Honestly, there's a big vat of that grease soley for dippin' taters.
yes you bake it in the micro for 8-12 mins depends on how many poatoes you are cookiing just cook them until they are soft , then you roll them into olive oil and sprinkle durkee grill creations kansas city style steak seasoning on them then put them in the oven to crisp the skins a bit , there you have it a very yummy baked potatoe restraunt style !!!!!Does anyone know how to cook those yummy baked potatoes like Outback or Texas Steakhouse?
Rock salt on the outside of a potato is just for show.
If you want a fancy baked potato, do this:
Cut the potato in half and make several slices into the flesh of each half to increase the surface area.
Spread a little butter on each half.
Pile whatever topings you like, except sour cream, on one half.
Put the other half on top and wrap tightly in aluminum foil.
Bake as usual.
If you bake sour cream it will separate and make an unsightly mess.
The main thing is, is their butter in the potato. They put sugar in their butter. Hope this helps.
It's kosher salt, just wet them and roll it in the salt and bake.
1 small yellow onion diced
olive oil
5 baking potatoes
3/4c milk
2tbsp. butter
1 tsp pepper
4oz(1/2 bag) kraft shredded cheddar cheese
Pre-heat oven to 350 place baking potatoes directly on oven rack and bake for 1hour 20minutes.
Meanwhile, cover the bottom of a skillet or frying pan with olive oil add onions to oil and sautee until tender (About 5 minutes) Remove onions from heat; drain excess oil. Add onions to medium mixing bowl.
When potatoes are done, take out of the oven and cut the top 1/4 off of each potato (the long way) Scoop potato out of the shell and into mixing bowl with the onions. Add milk, butter, and pepper to mixture. With mixer, combine ingredients until well blended. Add cheese and mix with spoon.
Place potato mixture into a medium sized plastic bag. Twist bag (bag should appear as a pastry bag) with scissors, clip the corner off the end of the bag. Squeeze the potato into each shell. place on cookie sheet and bake another 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and light brown crust forms on top of potatoes.

yes you bake it in the micro for 8-12 mins depends on how many poatoes you are cookiing just cook them until they are soft , then you roll them into olive oil and sprinkle durkee grill creations kansas city style steak seasoning on them then put them in the oven to crisp the skins a bit , there you have it a very yummy baked potatoe restraunt style !!!!!Does anyone know how to cook those yummy baked potatoes like Outback or Texas Steakhouse?

Going to a Japanese steakhouse and am looking for a healthy choice - Suggestions?
I'm on a diet, but really enjoy Japanese steakhouses. I'm going to one tonight. Need help! Suggestions appreciated! (Also, Suggestions of what "not to" are appreciated, too!)Going to a Japanese steakhouse and am looking for a healthy choice - Suggestions?
Are you going for the grill?
If you are, then the tepanyaki grill will give you a lot of choices , choose rib or sirloin, those have the least marbled fat.
If your steakhouse will offer a choice of fish steaks, that will be better. Choose salmon or mahimahi. (yellowfin tuna)
However, if your friends decide to go for sushi, beware. There are a lot of calories there.
Order only as much as you can eat, there is a tendency to try things, but you end up eating lots of rice.
The Japanese salads are not that great, they are mainly sugared vinegared lettuce with slivers of carrots, or sugared vinegrette type of noodles/shrimps, (suminomo salad)
If you are on a diet, go for yam and vegetable tempura, and the steaks. Some yakisoba noodles will be better than the other sweet offerings., even plain teriyaki sliced chicken over a small portion of steamed plain Japanese rice will be tasteful and filling.
I would ask for in advance a take-home dish. Most things are not too bad at the Jap steak house, but the portions sizes are incredibly large. As the guy loads your plate, load half of whatever it is into the go-box.
Shrimp or scallops woudl be a good choice, but even lean beef or chicken is fine, too. I'd get white rice instead of fried. And tank in the veggies! The salad and soup wont' count for many calories at all. Skip any fried foods like egg rolls not made at the table.
Have fun eating your "Japanese A-1 sauce!" :-)Going to a Japanese steakhouse and am looking for a healthy choice - Suggestions?
It's ALL healthy, are you kidding me???
enjoy yourself!!! one day is not going to change anything..you need to eat 3000 something calories extra to gain a pound so eat what ever you want tonight..i do it once a month i have a day i eat whatever i want and my weight never changes(and believe me i eat alot that day! things like mcdonalds, pizza, and candy all day)...but just dont get in a habbit of not eating healthy because continously doing it will make you gain weight(those calories will eventually add up but one night wont change a thing!)have fun tonight!
Just about anything you would get there is healthy but I wouldnt eat too much fried rice it is loaded with carbs.
Go with the veggie or chicken choice, the beef has more calories and cholesterol. The portions are huge. So a takeout box to scoop half of your plate into would not be a bad idea.
Most Japanese steakhouses do have other options. My S-I-L always gets a huge seafood salad and sushi. She doesn't care for all of the butter and oil that is used to cook on the grill. Take a closer look at the menu and see what they have to offer.

How do I get a tender cut of steak like a top notch steakhouse?
Enzymes, aging, prime beef, jaccard tenderizing? How do I get a tender cut of steak like a top notch steakhouse?
It's difficult to reproduce top notch steak house quality because those places have access to a better grade of meat than you get at the supermarket. It all starts at the butcher. If you can get your hands on top quality meat ( I'm not talking about Winn-Dixies best ), no additional tenderizing is necessary. All good beef is aged and I am completely against poking holes in good beef. Jaccard tenderizing is ok for bottom round, but it will make a yummy NY strip dry. Happy grilling.
As far as cut and quality , most restaurants don't have to follow, FDA regulations for cuts of meat they serve.
Where as grocery stores have to follow the regulations for selling the products off the shelves.
. Try a meat house, or a local butcher. There is also information on how create age meat on the Internet if your looking for more flavor. How do I get a tender cut of steak like a top notch steakhouse?
I order from Omaha Steaks all the time. While the packages may seem pricey, when you stack them up against any single steak at a top notch steakhouse, you're really saving a bunch.
Also, don't buy your beef from a grocery store. Find a local butcher shop and get your steaks from there.
make sure you steak is well seasoned if you can over night. also make sure your steak is room temp. when cooking it fry it with onions and fresh garlic cook slow. will come out nice and tender.
The cut of meat is your first place to start. A ribeye is a good choice but can be more expensive than others. A common misconception is that a t-bone steak is the best. This is not true. A trusted friend gave me this valuable piece of information. I trust her information as she and her husband were former cattle farmers and often had their cattle prepared into steaks.
Next, a good marinade can help make the meat tender. I use an equal mix of italian dressing and soy sauce. If you have a home vacuum sealer, this will help open the pores of the meat. I use a fork to pierce the flesh several times also.
Cook the meat over hot coals on your grill (I only use charcoal) searing it quickly to lock in the juices.

What is that soup they always serve before your meal at a Japanese steakhouse?
Like Sakura, it has a mushroom or 2 in it. I love it but I figure out what it is.What is that soup they always serve before your meal at a Japanese steakhouse?
Miso soup... you can buy miso paste at any Japanese store and make your own at home. it costs about 10.00 for a container of it. I make my own and add fresh veggies and tofu and seaweed onions etc. it tastes great.
misoWhat is that soup they always serve before your meal at a Japanese steakhouse?
mizo. or meso. or something like that.
miso soup, which is made of fermented soy beans.
Yeah, it's Miso. Isn't it fermented barley or something? I spent a year in Japan, but that was a long time ago. Watch out for some of the powdered miso soups that some health-food shops sell - some of them taste unbelievably bad!.
Miso?
It is miso soup. You can make it at home by buying some miso paste at a store. I usually contains small pieces of tofu and green onions as well.
meso soup... thanks for the easy 2 points... sucker!
If it is brown/beige color and cloudy when you mix it, it is probably miso soup. Miso is made of soybeans. I have added a link with a photo of it.
or if it is clear like a consomme then it is "Osuimono"
It's either Miso soup, which is fermented soybean and seaweed, or sometimes if the restaurant's kinda Americanized like Benihanas, they give you onion soup.language translation translator french to english pontoon boats tangled dvd

A friend and I want to start a steakhouse. How would I go about finding out if there was a grant for us?
Grants are almost always for non-profit organizations, or to help a non-profit organization. Businesses can get loans, which have to be paid back.
Before you go any further, I STRONGLY recommend you contact the Small Business Development Center (at your local community college) and talk to them; the counseling is free. Then sign up for the NxLevel Entrepreneurial program... it's a 12 session course that walks you through the ins and outs of starting or growing your business, and as part of that you will write a business plan. At the end of the class your plan will be reviewed by a lending professional, and will be critiqued, telling you the strong points of your plan AND the weak points.
Then you can work on the weak points and hopefully get it into shape to actually present to a lender and get the loan you need. There is a cost for the NxLevel program ($375.00 last year at my SBDC), but it鈥檚 a lot cheaper than losing your investment.
Even if you hire a professional to write your plan, you should still take the NxLevel course. It saved me from going into a business that would have failed within a year or so, taking my investment with it. I realized by the third week of the class that I could not afford the business I was looking at and changed directions in the middle of the class. I ended up not going with the second business either, but for non-financial reasons.
Business plans may be a pain in the butt to prepare, but without one, your business is doomed to failure. To start with, you won't know what your startup costs are going to be, what kind of income to expect, what your ongoing expenses are, who your competition is, and even whether or not you can make a profit. Without a GOOD business plan, you will not be able to get a business loan to get your business off the ground.
A friend and I want to start a steakhouse. How would I go about finding out if there was a grant for us?
There are no grants for private business.
Do you really think tax payers should pay to build restaurants?
Try sba.gov, there are loans you might qualify for.A friend and I want to start a steakhouse. How would I go about finding out if there was a grant for us?
Landlord is correct. The SBA is a good choice for low interest loans. You should also check State Economic Development Office to see they have a loan program. If you are in a large city there might even be a city program.
All of these are going to be loan programs, not grants; a grant doesn't have to be paid back. Also, don't spend money on the scam artists that say they can get you a grant if you just 1) buy my book, 2) attend my seminar, 3) hire me to write your proposal. Theses are ALL scams.

What is the price menu for the Outback Steakhouse? And is it good quality food?
Would this be appropriate for 2 people to go to for dinner for a birthday? How expensive is it? Are the lines/wait long? Can you make reservations? Never been here beforeWhat is the price menu for the Outback Steakhouse? And is it good quality food?
Very expensive but very good quality food
prices wiill range from $12 to $30 per meal.
__
Generally it's a fun, casual atmosphere that would be great to celebrate. Prices range from $9.99 up depending on how much and what you want. You can order a 6 oz. sirloin or a filet with an added lobster tail. The food is fresh and a lot is homemade. It's great for anyone with allergies since everything is made to order and the managers can either tell me what is in everything or look it up.
At most locations you can "call ahead" and put your name on the wait list so if you have to wait it isn't for long. I would suggest calling early in the day. What is the price menu for the Outback Steakhouse? And is it good quality food?
Outback is one of the better chain steakhouses. Prices start out just under $10 and top out at about $25 to $27. For 2 people they do not accept reservations but in many of their locations you can call ahead as you leave which cuts the waiting time a bit. When you order, you might want to try their blue cheese (crumbles) chopped salad with pecans. They also have a couple nice chicken breast dishes, Alice Springs Chicken in particular is good. They also have shrimp on the barbie and a very good BBQ ribs that put Chili's to shame. Desserts are rather standard fare. z
The Outback has a web site, outback.com. It will tell you mostly everything you would like to know. I have been on the web site and it is very informative. And the food is very good. My husband and I went there for our first date when we were dating. I've taken my daughter for her b'day, my mom for b'day and Mother's day, my husband for his b'day and My husband took me back for our 6 year anniversary.
outback is a great place to eat everything is delivered fresh daily. the prices range from 12.99 on up
the food is very tasty you won't be disappointed. Try the blooming onion it's heaven on earth.

How should my husband and I dress for Ruth's Chris SteakHouse?
We are going there for Valentines, but have never been there before. On the website people looked dressed-up.How should my husband and I dress for Ruth's Chris SteakHouse?
Country Club casual. Slacks, not jeans, and a nice shirt (and sweater if you are somewhere cold). You will see business folks there with jacket and tie too. So, your husband should be comfortable, let him do it his way.
They are right. You will see everything from jeans to a full suit. Go somewhere in the middle..khakis and a sweater for him and a nice outfit for yourself. How should my husband and I dress for Ruth's Chris SteakHouse?

They are right. You will see everything from jeans to a full suit. Go somewhere in the middle..khakis and a sweater for him and a nice outfit for yourself. How should my husband and I dress for Ruth's Chris SteakHouse?
I concur with the last answer...dress casual (no jeans) but as with the first answer folks also dress up so be comfortable and remember your money spends like the other customer..you will enjoy the meal.

If you want to be a server, you get paid a server hourly wage. It depends on the state. Michigan it is 2.65, Florida it is around 3.68.
I work at Outback and all Front of House workers, besides Keys, get the same wage of $2.65 plus tips. Even minors.geronimo stilton morningstar farms greek salad dressing burger shop 2

Would like to know if tea was freshly brewed, lemonade from can or fresh squeezed.I am looking for a drink recipe for a blackberry arnold palmer that was served at Longhorn Steakhouse?
The tea and lemonade come from syrup machines. Lipton unsweetened iced tea and lipton lemonade should work fine. I prefer the minute maid pre-mixed lemonade-iced tea myself.I am looking for a drink recipe for a blackberry arnold palmer that was served at Longhorn Steakhouse?

While eating food from outback steakhouse I'd bitten into a sharp piece of hard plastic, what should i do?
I'd contacted the reataurant last evening after the incident and spoke with the front of house mgr. and her first response was to send me a voucher for a replacement and not as toquestion whether or not I had ingested something. While eating food from outback steakhouse I'd bitten into a sharp piece of hard plastic, what should i do?
You may be too late. I should think you would have had more credibity if you had complained at the time this happened. I would simply tell the Manager what you expect because if you don't she will offer just their standard "voucher". I find that when complaining, it is best to state what they must do to rectify the situation for you.
dont be such a baby its only a bit of plastic i'm sure you'll surviveWhile eating food from outback steakhouse I'd bitten into a sharp piece of hard plastic, what should i do?
try to get as much free stuff as you can
if you didnt do something while you were in the restaurant, then its not that important. If you can show the manager what you bit into, then they can see and help you...otherwise you are just some guy that wants a free meal when you call in after the fact....

nothing to mate .should of showed them the plastic at the time ,have to settle with the voucher now and be happy .

Is peter luger steakhouse in new york that good?
i hear peter luger steakhouse in new york(brooklyn) is fantastic! have you eaten there? what is (or are) great steakhouses in the apple? also, have you taken a cruise on the queen mary 2? what are fun things to do while at sea since we don't stop at any cheesy islands, transatlantic all the way.Is peter luger steakhouse in new york that good?
ok...here's the skinny on peter luger's....
Peter Lugers without question is the number one steakhouse in america....Rated #1 by Zagat 19 yrs. in a row...90% of the people that go there order the porterhouse....there are however, many good steakhouses in nyc....
1.) Peter Lugers (brooklyn location only)
2.) Sparks
3.) Palm
4.) Smith %26amp; Wollensky
5.) Del Frisco's
6.) Ben %26amp; Jacks
etc.
I don't care for Luger's. Go to DelFrisco's instead. 6th and 49th (I think it's 49th) Much better! Decor is a lot better aso. After, you can go for a stroll by Rockafeller Center. Radio City Music Hall is only a block away, maybe you cna see a show.
Have funIs peter luger steakhouse in new york that good?
THe steak house is good. Also, ruth chris is good too. You can also find someplace good to eat and do anytime in NYC
Peter Lugers is the best (and the best wine cellar too).......I've been to both....1st in Great Neck over 20 years ago.....and a few times to the one in Williamsburg (NYC) ...excellent!
Also, Smith %26amp; Wollensky is a steakhouse in NYC but not as good! Gallaghers is much better and Palm is also (more ambiance in Palm).....Gallaghers (no ambiance but great steaks and expensive!).
Luger's by far outweighs the best of them.......you'll know what I mean once you've had the pleasure of eating there!
Yes it great they have great taste and food is fresh
Peter Luger has taken on challenge after challenge from Michelin, Conde Nast Traveler, Gourmet Magazine, Forbes etc, etc. All, over the last decade or more have aclaimed it above repute...the best steak house in the USA, and probobly the world.
It is the best.
If you come to New York plan at least to weeks ahead to eat there and be flexible with your times or you wont.
Luger's in Brooklyn is pretty good. Personally, I prefer Smith and Wollensky. You will pay a pretty penny at both establishments but it's well worth it. On average, I spend about $300.00 for dinner + fine wine + drinks/cigars at the bar (for 2) at S. and W.
There are 2 Peter Lugers. The one you mention in Brooklyn, NY (Williamsburg) is excellent, the one in Great Neck is also very good. It is very expensive. It costs about $70.00 per person without drinks. With drinks, and desert, about $100.00. Bryant and Cooper's in Roslyn on Northern Blvd. (Route 25 A) is great. I like Bryant and Coopers better. But both are worth the money.
off the wall was there some time back and loved every minute of experience.

What steak do you get when out at a steakhouse?
Just wondering. I myself usually get a ribeye cooked medium rare. If not that then a prime rib cooked the same. What steak do you guys get and how do you get it cooked? What steak do you get when out at a steakhouse?
I like your thinking...definitely a Ribeye or a Prime Rib done medium rare. That is my ab fav :)
Steak is just disgusting once you go past medium. A med-well to well done steak looks like a shriveled up dry hockey puck. And please tell me why people order a filet butterflied and well done. At that point you might as well have ordered a sirloin cooked the same way and saved yourself the money. It's sure to taste the same...gross.

Popular menu items at the Outback Steakhouse?
If you were recommending the Outback Steakhouse what items would you suggest?
And even if you weren't going to suggest an item to someone, what items would you say are the most popular ones?
If you would like a genral area, I would say around the Southern side of California.
And haha, I fully agree that Outback is absolutely amazing(: Which is why my friend and I are doing our Econ Brochure on it.Popular menu items at the Outback Steakhouse?
i work there- As far as steaks- the victorias filet is the most popular because its the most tender steak. Some people also like the melbourne because its part filet, part strip and its HUGE! Prime rib is a big favorite. The tilapia is also very popular (fish). popular apps are cheese fries and bloomin onions. Our roast filet is also really popular... and our ribs fall off the bone. As far as drinks... our margaritas are cheap and really good!! our sangrias are popular and obviously all of our beers as well!! :)
Personally i like the foccia sandwich and the bloomin onion. As for popular i would have to say the prime rib is very good.Popular menu items at the Outback Steakhouse?

Dining without a reservation at Burns Steakhouse?
I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to dine at burns steakhouse in Tampa Florida without a reservation. If so, were they able to seat you and how long did you have to wait? I tried making a reservation but they were booked for weeks in advance. I don't mind walking in and seeing what happens but it seemed like the hostess I spoke with wasn't even sure if they would be willing to put me on a list. Has anyone ever done this at this restaurant?Dining without a reservation at Burns Steakhouse?

I'm looking for a recipe for Longhorns Steakhouse Resturant Firey Chicken Wraps?
Any recipe close to it is ok to.I'm looking for a recipe for Longhorns Steakhouse Resturant Firey Chicken Wraps?
FIRECRACKER CHICKEN WRAPS (LIKE LONGHORN'S)
chicken boned or not
chili seasoning/marinade
pepper jack cheese
flour tortillas
Avocado Lime Sauce (recipe follows)
Grill or roast chicken with a marinade of chili pepper seasoning. You can get marinades like that all over the spice aisle at your local grocery. I would marinade it for at least 2 hours to make sure the “firecracker” is bone deep.
Shred the grilled/roasted chicken.
Get small flour tortillas (6-inch will make the signature longhorn size). If your tortillas are large ones cut them in into thirds. Brush the inside of the tortilla with butter or use butter spray--they have to stick once you roll them up.
Heat your oil up to 300/350 degrees about 1/2-inch deep. Oil has to be hot enough to crisp the tortillas quickly without the cheese melting all the way out.*
Take your shredded chicken and wrap it along with some shredded pepper jack or cheddar cheese and wrap up tightly--finger size--in the tortilla. They’ll be long so cut them in half. Fry these until golden brown.
AVOCADO LIME SAUCE:
Wash up 1/2 avocado, mix in the juice of 2 limes, add a little olive oil and some garlic and salt. Whip it, whip it good.

What is the best steakhouse in las vegas?
We are going for our 30th anniversary and would like a special dinner out to celebrate. What is the best steakhouse in las vegas?
well, they say (whoever they are) that Ruth's Chris is very good (around $50.00 per meal)
also, Golden Steer has been in town for a long time, so you know it's good, for about the same price range
there are a few more that are more expensive, and supposedly good - like:
Vic %26amp; Anthony's Steakhouse (close to $100.00 each)
and Hugo's cellar at the 4 Queens for close to $80.00 per person
but according to many, Redwood Bar %26amp; Grill inside the California Hotel %26amp; Casino is as good for about $30.00 - $35.00 a meal
now that's if you want a whole steak
if you want a steak that is tender but is cubed and fried while you watch at a hibachi table, then go to Geisha Steakhouse
3751 E Desert Inn Rd
Las Vegas, NV 89121
(702) 451-9814
not only is the steak tender enough to cut with a fork, the presentation (show) is GREAT
Prime, Lawry's, Craftsteak, Carnevino, Cut, Delmonico, Stripsteak, Nero's, N9ne, Smith %26amp; Wollensky. A recent Feb. Las Vegas Sun article listed Carnevino as the best steakhouse in town. It's owned by Mario Batali and it's in the Palazzo. Check the links below. What is the best steakhouse in las vegas?
My husband and I love Delmonico's at the Venetian. It's an Emeril Lagasse restaurant and the food is great. The servers also make you feel like special guests. The Palm Restaurant at Caesar's is great but I'd go for Delmonico for an anniversary.

Went to Outback Steakhouse last night-my husband had a Jalapeno Martini. Does anyone have that recipe?
I noticed on the drink description on the menu that it did not contain vodka.....Went to Outback Steakhouse last night-my husband had a Jalapeno Martini. Does anyone have that recipe?
I've had one they're good! my friend who is a bartender made them for me. The secret was adding jalapeno juice and using Absolut Peppar.
I don't have theirs, but I started making my own years ago. I make a classic Bombay Sapphire Gin martini, then instead of an olive cut a jalapeno for my garnish. Can use the juice as you would a dirty martini. If Outback does not make this with pepper vodka it is probably the dirty martini style as I just described.Went to Outback Steakhouse last night-my husband had a Jalapeno Martini. Does anyone have that recipe?
oh, how totally gruesome!!! martini is bad enough but to add something like japs to it is even worse yet!!
You have just given me the cold shudders!!!

Where can I buy a $40 Outback Steakhouse gift card without going to the actual restaurant?

ebay? amazon.com?craigslist?
Unfortunately they purposely only sell those dollar amounts at locations besides the actual restaurant. They do this in hopes that people will just buy the higher dollar amounts in exchange for the convenience.
you can get two $20 gift cards from kroger and kmart but you can only get the higher amounts at the actual resturant.
My local supermarket sells Outback gift cards and a bunch of others. Maybe yours does too. But the denominations are $25 and $50. If you want to get a gift certificate of a different denomination you probably do have to go to the restaurant itself.
Your local large-chain grocery store sells them, depending on where you live, it could be called Vons, Safeway, Ralphs...etc...
you can go to your local grocery store. they are likely to have most restaurant gift cards there.
Go to the website below and you can purchase gift cards for $10 to $100 in $5 increments
Walmart has just about every place you can think of, usually by the cashiers. You can also buy online at the restaurant website.
I saw one today in CVS and Walgreens I am pretty sure Walmart carries them too.
I like Ebay.... also, some grocery stores sell gift cards for other places such as Outback.
The only place to get a variable amount is thru the restaurant itself. Now if you have a Costco card, some of the Costco stores sell restaurant gift cards but what they sell is two gift cards worth $50 each for $80. So you can give out one $50 certificate that cost you $40 and enjoy the second card for yourself. z
They come in increments of $25, 50 %26amp; $100:

They give you two sauces at japanese steakhouse one is yellow color, what is the name of that sauce? recipe?
i'm talking about the ones they give you in the little dishes when you sit at the hibachi grill. thanks in advance:)They give you two sauces at japanese steakhouse one is yellow color, what is the name of that sauce? recipe?
The yellow sauce is the mustard. The brown sauce is the ginger soy sauce.
i would think it is a type of chinese yellow mustard (hot) sauce flavored with a pinch of (brown) sugar to take the heat away from it.
You can just buy the chinese yellow mustard and add sugar to taste at home or i always have a cannister of colman's hot mustard on hand (add water and stir to desired thickness) and then sweeten it up a bit with sugar. http://www.colmansmustard.com/colmans_mu…

What does a Blooming Onion from Outback Steakhouse taste like?
I've been craving one for days, but I don't like onions. :) I saw it on the Food Network and it sounds like it tastes really good. So you can someone tell me if it tastes strongly like onion or more like a potato? You can also tell me anything else about the taste. And, one more question. Do YOU like the Blooming Onion? Thanks in advance, guys! What does a Blooming Onion from Outback Steakhouse taste like?
If you've ever had a slightly spiced onion ring (i.e. one that has spices in the ring batter) then you know what a blooming onion tastes like. It's pretty much just a giant onion ring.
Personally, I love them.

Whats the soup at the beginning of the meal at a japanese steakhouse?
it's pretty clear with a yellow tint and normally has a mushroom slice in it.Whats the soup at the beginning of the meal at a japanese steakhouse?
Miso soup, or miso shiru or sometimes restaurants will serve Miso if you order it, but if a soup comes with a meal, then usually they will just give you Dashi with a mushroom in it (no Tofu).
I used to work in a japanese restaurant, it's called Miso Soup.Whats the soup at the beginning of the meal at a japanese steakhouse?
I am not sure if it is miso soup if it is clear. Miso soup is usually cloudy because of the miso paste. If it is absolutely clear, it might be Dashi which is a soup stock usually made with shiitake mushroom or fish.
Miso Soup
yes it is called miso soup
it is made out of bean paste and the green stuff is chopped green onions and of course, mushrooms
although im shocked that you did not find any tofu in there
Its probably Miso Soup

Does Outback Steakhouse require any previous work experience to get a job there?
I'm just looking to be a bus boy and am worried that they won't consider me without any real job history.Does Outback Steakhouse require any previous work experience to get a job there?
Your expectations are low, and so are the demands of a busboy job. They'll hire you if you seem like somebody who can get along with others.
What ANY employer is looking for when they're hiring for a low-end job like this is someone who won't be making a career out of the job. If you're in high school, be sure to mention your college plans. If the subject comes up, tell them you'd eventually like to move up to waiter if a spot comes open to help with your college expenses.
If you come off like a low-life 'party-hardy' type they'll pass you over.Does Outback Steakhouse require any previous work experience to get a job there?

How can I get a job at a place like Outback Steakhouse?
I think it would be fun working there as a waitress, but do you have to start off as a hostess first? I am almost 21 in about a month also, but I also don't have any experience waitressing..although I know that I can do it. Are there any other restaurants you think would also be fun and great tips? How can I get a job at a place like Outback Steakhouse?
HI there. You seem like a really bubbly and outgoing type of person. Irrespective of you not having any experience, I'm sure if you call in there personally and ask to see the manager, (do it at a quiet time) so they can give you ten minutes to chat, and just tell them you'd be willing to learn and be happy to take a job on on a probationary period of a month or so and if they like what you do, ask for full time contract.? Or just apply in writing. Either way, you got nothing to lose.
Just be confident, polite and you will go places.

What is your favorite thing to order at Morton's steakhouse?
I am going there tomorrow with some of my family. I have never been there before. I am thinking about either getting the filet oskar, the filet, or the prime rib. I want to know which of those is the best. Also, if you know, could you say how good the filet oskar is. Thanks. What is your favorite thing to order at Morton's steakhouse?
i go to morton's at least 3 or 4 times a year. filets are awesome there, but never had the oskar.
if you want prime rib, call in advance to reserve a cut. it's worth it and die hard prime rib fans reserve them in advance.
the cajun ribeye is good and if they have a bone-in filet, that's to die for too.
make sure you order the bacon-wrapped scallops
I am a devoted filet fan, especially @ Morton's. I have never had the filet oscar%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;but I imagine it is the filet topped with crab and as with everthing at Morton's it is probably fabulous. The only time I have ever had dessert @ Mortons was years ago and I think I had creme brulee and it rocked. Enjoy! What is your favorite thing to order at Morton's steakhouse?
The oscar sounds like what I would order or just some bernaise sauce sounds great as well. Remember that when ordering side dishes they will generally feed two we have found.

it has to be something that they use that Americans are not used to. I am so excited to hear this answer because this happens to me everytime that i go to the Japanese steakhouse.
This question reminds me of a friend of my boyfriend. Every week he would go to the same terryaki house and everytime he got the poops too.lol. It could be something they use to prepare the food. or you could be allergic to something. Or it could be that they use old food.lol...i dunno. usualy if something gives me problems, i give the place a second chance, but if it happens more than twice i dont risk getting food poisoning. Good luckWhy is it that I get a serious case of the poops every time I go to a Japanese Steakhouse?
haha that's funny....that happens to me too.. but with Korean Grills maybe their meat I guess...maybe it's to rare (the meat)....That's why I'm trying to stay away from korean grills...with japanese steakhouse..hmm..I think I'm ok with taht as long as i'm getting sushi or seafood. . I bring tums all the time I go out to eat with my friends..so i think you should bring some too.
hope this works
"Every time?" I can't understand why it was more than twice. Yes, you're probably allergic to the oil, spices or something. Being allergic to expensive food is not entirely disadvantageous.
tell them you want everything cooked 100%, or you can be jus allergic to one of their indegrident
could be something in the food. do you order the same thing every time? if so order something else
Maybe you shouldn't go anymore? Jk. I might be one of the ingredients they use.
grease! Happens to a lot of us.

Place all ingredients in a bread machine in the order listed above and use the dough setting.
When it is done, let it rise for about an hour.
When the dough is twice its original size, punch it down and split it into rolls.
If you want authentic Outback size, make about 8 tubular loaves.
I prefer to make 12 rolls.
The dough is sticky, so make sure you use a well-floured cookie sheet and plenty of flour on your hands.
Sprinkle the entire surface of the loaves with cornmeal and then let them rise again.
Bake for 20-24 minutes at 350.

I found a copycat recipe at:

What's the appropriate dress code for chima Brazilian steakhouse?
I'm going to have a dinner there with my friends and I was wondering what's the appropriate dress code for the restaurant, are jeans acceptable for girls? I'm talking about the one in Philadelphia. Thanks! What's the appropriate dress code for chima Brazilian steakhouse?
I'm pretty sure jeans are acceptable. As long as you pay your bill at the end of the day, I don't see why there would be any problem.
I would wear a casual dress style. You are going to dinner. Jeans?? I mean...whats the deal? They are accepted everywhere...but personally....I would like to be the person who stands out a little without them. You can still wear nice pants and a casual shirt, then get great compliments too! Not a fan of jeans because its almost like a uniform.....everyone wears them!!!!What's the appropriate dress code for chima Brazilian steakhouse?

About how much a month would a hostess at Outback Steakhouse make?
So yeah, about how much a month? I know I would get some of the tips too.About how much a month would a hostess at Outback Steakhouse make?
Close to minimum wage plus any tips that the waitstaff and/or bartender staff decide to share with the non-food service employees.About how much a month would a hostess at Outback Steakhouse make?
Hostess at Outback get the same wage as a server, it is $2.65 an hour in Michigan, you will have to check your state to find your hourly wage.
Then once clocked in, the hosts, bussers, and bartenders will split 3% of the servers sales. The busier, the more money you will receive. Also the longer you stay on the clock, the more tipshare you will receive. You will receive around $15 to $30on weekdays and $20 to $50 on the weekends.
I can't say how much you will exactly make because it depends on the duration of your shift and the sales of the restaurant.

How much would it cost for two people to eat at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse?
We want to go to the one in Fairfax, VA but the prices are all probably about equal nationwide. How much would it cost for two people to eat at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse?
Depends on how big of an appetite. The lowest priced steak is approx. $22, but this includes no sides. None of the meats come w/sides.The sides (asparagus, creamed spinach, broccoli, etc.) come in portions large enough for two but are each priced between $10-$13. Obviously, if you opt for an appetizer or after dinner coffee or dessert costs go up. For example, my husband and I had Ribeye %26amp; Filet Mignon, we added two sides, an appetizer and a spiked coffee after dinner. Our total was about $120 w/tip included. It can become pricey but it is a nice atmosphere for a special occasion.
Thought I'd break it down so you could estimate individual costs instead of just one jumbo number. Hope this helps.

Valentine's Day 2010. I ordered a T-Bone steak w/ baked potato. My gf got the filet mignon with broccoli and also a salad. "Chocolate Explosion" for dessert. Both drank sweet tea, no wine. The total came to $114.41. I left a tip to make it an even $150. The food was excellent, just expensive.
I eat out a lot, and eat very expensivelyy, it will range from $100 to $250. to keep it cheep split a steak or don'tt order wine, or only have one bottle and if you know about a really good wine that is under $20 you can just pay a corking fee.
Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is very expensive. You are looking at $100 minimum.
..
Approx $40/per person without any drinks
